What a wonderful community we are part of!
Last month, we hosted the Elmsbrook Christmas Fayre. The fantastic event was collaboratively organised by the Elmsbrook Community Organisation (ECO), the Gagle Brook PTA, and Bicester Town Council.
Visitors enjoyed a variety of attractions, including: meeting Santa himself, having a picture taken with a very popular pack of huskies, having a go at some Christmas crafts, and trying their luck in the tombola. Soundtracked by the wonderful carol singers, the fayre had a lovely, warm, festive atmosphere.
As well as getting to enjoy all these great activities, attendees also browsed stalls run by people from across Bicester who were raising money in support of local and national charities. Guests could also buy a coffee at the pop-up cafe, and enjoy the mulled wine and mince pies, which were delicious!
At Gagle Brook, we are extremely proud to be a part of the community in Elmsbrook and in Bicester as a whole. As a recently established school, we believe it is even more important that we forge strong links in our local area. That’s why we were so excited to host this popular event.
It’s great to get together at this time of year and celebrate the festive season as a community. We really enjoyed meeting all the different attendees, and it was a fantastic way to cap off the winter term.
We’d like to say a big thank you to the ECO, our excellent PTA, Bicester Town Council, and everyone else involved in making the event so special. We can’t wait to do it all again!
