Eco Council

Gagle Brook Eco Council will be made up of a representative from each year group. In order for children to be selected as an Eco Council Member, they will have to run for Election at the start of the school year. This process will involve the children delivering an election speech and canvassing for votes. A ballot will take place and the candidate with the most votes will be successful.

We meet regularly to discuss topics and projects. Additionally, formal Council Meetings will be held throughout the year – Minutes of these meetings will be published on this page.

While the Eco council will track our progress against the ten One Planet Principles, they will also help us work towards external Eco School validation. We are currently working towards the Bronze award.
